After her first visit to Portland, OR, Dr. Ward knew she was meant to be in the Pacific Northwest.
Subsequent travel to Washington only further convinced her she should figure out a way to leave Texas and come to the Seattle area. When an opportunity arose in 2015 for her family to move to the area, they jumped on it right away. After practicing for nearly a year in Kenmore, Dr. Ward joined the Hollywood Hill team in 2016.
Dr. Ward graduated from the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, and worked in general practice in Texas for the first 4 years after graduation. She grew up in the Houston area and enjoyed practicing close to family and friends until having the opportunity to move to Washington. Her main interest is veterinary dentistry, but she also enjoys soft tissue surgery and feline medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Ward enjoys spending time with her dog, Oberon, and two cats, Theo and Luna. She volunteers with the Washington Trails Association and seems to find herself training for half-marathon distance races on a regular basis. Dr. Ward also enjoys pretending to be a chef in the kitchen, hiking, and learning to play the fiddle.
