What I love about the veterinary profession is simple: being able to help animals feel better and stay healthy. I love coming to work each day at Hollywood Hill Animal Hospitals because I get to do what I love and work with wonderful people who share my passion. In fact, it is because of the great staff here at HHAH that I chose to practice here with them. My passions in veterinary medicine include surgery, ophthalmology, and preventative medicine.
I have loved animals from early childhood. I grew up with dogs and cats always in the house and spent countless hours with my grandmother visiting the zoo watching the big cats, elephants, and all the small mammals, birds, and reptiles of the children’s zoo. During my undergraduate years at UMASS Boston, I worked as a dog walker and upon graduation, I took a job as a surgical technician. Working with so many great veterinarians inspired me to make it my profession and I enrolled at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, I completed a year-long internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle, gaining immeasurable experience in the ER, as well as in the internal medicine, neurology, and surgery departments. I have been practicing in the Greater Seattle area since then.
I grew up in the Boston area, but ultimately came to the Seattle area for the amazing outdoor features and activities, not to mention the milder weather! I live north of the city with my wife, daughters, and myriad pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, goats, a tortoise named Darwin, and a horse named Oz. I look forward to meeting your pet(s) and working with you to keep them healthy and happy.
